Libya and Mali review strengthening cooperation in tourism and traditional industries

Summary: Libya’s Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries in the Government of National Unity, Nasreddine Al-Fazzani, held talks with Mali’s Minister of Handicrafts, Culture, Hospitality Industry and Tourism, Mamou Daffé, on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of tourism and traditional industries, as well as developing mechanisms for coordination and the exchange of expertise to support development and strengthen ties between the two countries.

Libya’s Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries in the Government of National Unity, Nasreddine Al-Fazzani, held talks with Mali’s Minister of Handicrafts, Culture, Hospitality Industry and Tourism, Mamou Daffé, on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of tourism and traditional industries, as well as developing mechanisms for coordination and the exchange of expertise to support development and strengthen ties between the two countries.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 12th Conference of Ministers of the African Organization for the Development and Promotion of Handicrafts hosted in Mali’s capital, Bamako, from July 2 to 4, in the presence of the Chargé d’Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Mali.

Both ministers stressed the importance of expanding areas of joint cooperation. The Malian minister expressed appreciation for Libya’s participation in the conference, praising its active role within the organization and reaffirming Mali’s commitment to continued coordination and cooperation in pursuit of shared interests and stronger bilateral relations.
