Libyan Prime Minister’s National Security Adviser Ibrahim Dbeibah, accompanied by Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid Al-Lafi, met on Monday with Malta’s Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Chris Fearne to discuss joint coordination on tackling illegal migration and to review ongoing cooperation projects in the energy sector.

The meeting, held at the Maltese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the capital, Valletta, focused on strengthening cooperation mechanisms to address the challenges posed by illegal migration in a way that enhances security and stability across the Mediterranean, according to a statement published by the Government of National Unity’s Hakomitna platform on Facebook.
