Libya border guard chief attends Brussels talks on migration

The meeting on Monday brought together representatives from the European Union, the United Nations and several international organisations.

Maj Gen al-Marhani outlined efforts by Libya’s Border Guard to secure the country’s land borders and combat transnational organised crime. He said improvements in operational capacity, supported by the interior ministry, had helped enhance security performance.
